On snow, it works almost like a summer tire, but on slightly icier/harder ground, it grips incredibly well.

They roll better than the Scwalbe studded tires I had before. Hopefully the studs will also hold better than in Schwalbes.

The previous porcupines (SL) were of poor quality and only lasted one winter, when the sun was already shining through the tires. The grip, on the other hand, was excellent. Now a new company with a slightly different tire.

At least they look like it.

It seems to be of high quality and at least weighs like hell. Then you will see how much traction there is when you get on slippery roads sometime in the winter.

It seems practical, but you will only get more detailed experiences when you get to try it in winter weather.

Excellent grip, but absolutely shocking to drive on melted asphalt. The profile of the tire is also quite high, and the 29x2.6 did not fit in the back of my own Canyon.
